Address

Hello again!

I wanted to make a post with just my address so that it's easier to find in case you're needing it :)

Emily Boehm
NATO Role 3 MMU
APO AE 09355

If you like, here is a list of things that I've come up with that would be great to have if anybody feels so inclined!  Please feel free to use your imagination too- anything girly is always fun!  We even have coloring books- it's amazing how much fun it is even as an adult!
- Liquid coffee creamers (there are Keurig machines at the hospital, but the milk here is, um, interesting and not kind on one's belly, so these are very handy to have!)
- Tuna packets- the ones that are pre-drained please :)
- Cliff bars (any and all flavors- they're the best meal on the go!)
- Gum (I love trident vitality, but really anything.  It's so dry it's helpful just to keep your mouth moist)
- Any and all types of nature valley bars
- Drink mixes for bottles of water (all we drink is 1/2 liter bottles of water so it's nice to have the flavor packets to mix in them)
- Juice- whether it's in boxes or little plastic bottles, good juice (like cranberry)
- Individual brown rice cups (we have plenty of access to microwaves)
- Oatmeal, soup, any type of food in it's own container (the water is non-potable, and there isn't a good place to be able to wash dishes)
- Magazines- new, old, it doesn't matter.  We take them into the hospital too and hand them out to patients to read (if they're old please remove your address from it)
- Dryer sheets
- Tide pods (we do a lot of our own laundry and they make it the cleanest and smell fantastic)
- Any type of hand and foot cream- the weather and boots are rough on our extremities
- Anything else you think would be enjoyed over here by the troops!  We share pretty much everything we get from home (of course I'll keep my own stash, but there's no need to be stingy)

The USO out here is fantastic- they help us a ton!
There is also a coffee shop out here (I know, it's weird, in a war zone and there's a coffee shop), but most of us enjoy it because it gives us a sense of normalcy when we're outside of the hospital.  It's called Green Beans coffee, and they're great.  My friends and I have signed up (along with a lot of other servicemembers out here) and every once in a while we'll get an email and someone will have donated $2 for us to get a cup of Joe.  It definitely brightens my day!  I know it's a random selection, but it's a huge morale booster out here.
